Ages 5 to 12

 

Here at Tysons Art Center, we help our students develop basic skills in visual arts and encourage them to explore their artistic creativity. We believe a strong foundation of artistic skills will enable students to become more creative and confident artists. During our week-long camp, students will receive instruction in the use of each medium, including color-mixing, techniques, and the proper use of materials.

We will be doing various structured drawings using oil pastels, soft pastels, acrylic paint, colored pencils, and watercolor while emphasizing the importance of shapes, lines, and shading.

Artists of all levels are welcome to join!
