Our Summer Camp features week-long sessions that offer a fun, creative, informative, and educational setting for children aged 5 and older to delve into drawing, coloring, and painting. At Tysons Art Center, we focus on helping our students build foundational skills in visual arts while encouraging them to tap into their artistic creativity. We believe a solid base in artistic techniques fosters greater creativity and confidence in our young artists. Participants will receive comprehensive instruction on various mediums, including color mixing, techniques, and appropriate material usage.
We will engage in a variety of structured drawing activities using oil and soft pastels, acrylic paint, colored pencils, and watercolor, while highlighting the significance of shapes, lines, and shading.
Artists at every skill level are invited to participate!
